JPMorgan to allow its wealth clients access to cryptocurrency funds

JPMorgan Chase ([[JPM]] -0.9%)will let its financial advisers offer cryptocurrency funds to almost all of its retail wealth management clients, Business Insider reports, citing an internal memo.Clients will be able to trade five products from Grayscale Investments and Osprey Funds; they include: Grayscale Bitcoin Trust ([[GBTC]] +2.0%), Grayscale Bitcoin Cash Trust ([[BCHG]] -0.5%), Grayscale Ethereum Trust ([[ETHE]] +1.3%), Grayscale Ethereum Classic Trust ([[ETCG]] +2.1%), and Osprey Bitcoin Trust ([[OBTC]] +1.2%).While the JPMorgan advisers aren't allowed to recommend the products, they may trade them at the client's request, according to Business Insider's source.See why SA contributor Robert Honeywell advises caution in investing in bitcoin.
